Boosters

Welcome to the Waseca Band Boosters!

We are a passionate, non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the band programs at Waseca Public Schools. As a parent or guardian of a marching band student, you're automatically part of our community—and we’re excited to have you!

Our volunteer board is made up of 12 members who meet monthly to work alongside band directors and staff. Together, we help coordinate activities for all band groups, including the Marching Jays, jazz bands, junior high bands, and even the beginning 5th and 6th-grade bands.

We encourage you to get involved by attending our open meetings, sharing your ideas, and staying up-to-date on our plans. Your support plays a key role in creating an enriching experience for all of our students, while strengthening our band community.

Treasurer in Training

This person will work this year with the Current Treasurer to learn how to fulfill the role. The current Treasurer is Chantel Medina.

 

Food Trustee

This role oversees the band meals at competitions, snacks during band camp, and a few other small meals throughout the year. Wendy Dieker is the current Food Trustee. She has great notes of what the role entails along with who to call, what to order, etc. 

 

Fundraising Trustee in Training

This role oversees helping coordinate the fundraising activities. They help find the chairs for each fundraiser. They help with sign-up genius volunteer sign-ups and monitoring volunteer credits. This role is split between 2 to 3 people. We are hoping to train in one more new person before the current trustee’s terms end.

 

Calendar Ad Sales Chair

This is a chair position and does earn 3 credits. This role will oversee the Calendar Ad sales fundraiser. This will be helping get the information about the fundraiser out to the families. Coordinating between the businesses and the kids. For more information about this contact Jeannie Feldkamp
